To apply for a Vietnam business visa in this way, foreigners will need to visit the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate General office to stamp the visa.
The process to apply for this type of business visa will be as follows:

- and other documents at the request of the Immigration Department.
The time to review and issue entry dispatch is about 5-7 working days after Vietnam Immigration Department receives all valid documents.
If the visa application is approved, the Vietnam Immigration Department will:
- Issue a guarantee for the entry of official document, and at the same time
- Fax the official visa stamping request to the registered embassy/consulate-general office.
Step 2: Prepare documents to stamp commercial visas
The guarantee company will send an entry letter to the foreigner. After that, the foreigner will print that official letter and prepare the following documents to apply for a visa stamp:
- The required visa application form;
- Original passport

5.2 Procedures for applying for a commercial visa at Vietnam airport
The process of applying for a commercial visa issued at the airport is similar to the process of applying for a commercial visa at the Embassy. However, instead of stamping visas at the Embassy, foreigners will put visa stamps at Vietnam airports when entering Vietnam to work/work.
The procedure to apply for a commercial visa at the airport includes 3 steps as follows:

5.3 Online e-commerce visa application procedure
This type of visa is only available to citizens of 80 countries.
However, before guiding the steps to apply for a Vietnam e-commerce visa, Vietnam-visa would like to note some important issues about this type of visa as follows:
- The e-commerce visa is valid for 30 days, single entry, and is non-renewable in Vietnam. If foreigners want to continue to stay in Vietnam, foreigners will need to leave Vietnam and come back with a new visa. This form is called visa run, and this form will cost time, effort and cost.
- With this form of visa, foreigners will not be able to convert to a temporary residence card.
- Therefore, if you want to work long-term in Vietnam, apply for a work permit and get a temporary residence card, then commercial evisa is not the recommended option.
Foreigners can apply for a commercial visa on their own, or a guarantor company can also apply and send it to foreigners to use to enter Vietnam. The specific steps are as follows:
- If a foreigner applies for a commercial visa by himself
To apply for an online commercial visa, foreigners will complete an application at the Electronic Visa Portal of the Vietnam Immigration Department, choose English language for easy operation. And when you get to the Purpose section, select "Business Activities".
After that, foreigners need to upload a clear, shadow-free passport photo and portrait to the system, pay the 25 USD visa fee and wait for the results.
If the application is approved, foreigners can go to the visa application lookup section to download the visa and use it to enter Vietnam.
- The unit that invites/guarantees to apply for a commercial visa for customers
If the inviting/guarantoring company is an e-commerce visa applicant for guests, the inviting/guarantoring unit will need to register an account on the e-Visa Portal in accordance with regulations.
After that, the company will complete the declaration, upload the foreigner's portrait and passport photo in accordance with regulations.
If the visa is granted, the company will download the visa and send it to foreigners to print out and enter Vietnam.
Processing time for an electronic visa application usually takes about 3 working days, or longer depending on the number of applications sent to the Immigration Department.
